About
Lutheran Principals Australia (LPA) is a national body that serves to provide opportunities for collegial networking, professional learning, and support for Principals of Lutheran Schools across Australia. We place a high value on enabling Lutheran Principals to lead their communities with purpose, meaning and integrity.
LPA is a Not-for-Profit Association, and was established to promote the advancement of education in accordance with the Lutheran faith, by supporting, strengthening and developing Lutheran Principals in Australia by:
- promoting and supporting the personal and professional development of Principals in Lutheran Schools so that they may be effective school leaders;
- promoting the significance of the role of Principals in Lutheran education amongst Principals themselves and amongst relevant educational, governmental, ecclesiastical, parental and other groups;
- facilitating communication between Principals, Lutheran Education Australia and the Church;
- facilitating avenues and opportunities for active and strong peer to peer networking, care and support for Lutheran Principals;
- representing the views of Lutheran Principals and advocating on their behalf on national matters of strategy, policy, initiatives or projects relevant to education; and
- undertaking any other activities in furtherance of the above.
