2027 Member Grants: Apply Now!
Professional Learning Opportunities
LPA Members are encouraged to explore the member grants available through their LPA membership. Funding of up to $2,500 per member is available in each calendar year to support selected professional learning opportunities:
Shadowing Program
This opportunity provides time and space to step into another Lutheran school context, walk alongside a principal colleague, and gain fresh insight into leadership, operations and community life. This experience will strengthen your own leadership practice and bring renewed perspective back to your own school community. Further information can be found on the LPA website here.
The Way of the Lutherans
This spiritual pilgrimage traces the footsteps of the early Lutheran migrants in South Australia and focuses on the sites and stories as they established their churches and schools. This 150km pilgrimage begins at Pirltawardli, the first Australian Lutheran school for Indigenous children, and concluding at Gnadenberg Lutheran Church in the Barossa Valley. This experience will strengthen collegial networks, connect with the story of Australian Lutheranism, deepen spiritual understanding while reflecting on personal growth. Two pilgrimages run each year during April and September. For further information and FAQs, visit the website here.
